Thank you for choosing TES Logistics. Because freight forwarding and logistics involve fixed carrier scheduling, space allocations, and upfront fuel commitments, refunds and cancellations are governed by the conditions below.
1. Quote Cancellation & Booking Fees
Prior to Carrier Dispatch
Bookings canceled more than 24 hours before scheduled cargo pickup are eligible for a full refund, minus a standard administrative processing fee.
After Carrier Dispatch
If a truck, container, or courier has already been dispatched to the origin address before cancellation, a Truck Ordered Not Used (TONU) fee will be assessed and the remaining balance refunded.
In-Transit Cancellations
No refunds can be issued once cargo is actively in transit or loaded onto a cross-border linehaul vessel.
2. Service Delays and Force Majeure
Transit times are estimates and subject to weather, customs inspections, harbor congestion, and structural supply-chain delays. TES Logistics is not financially liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from third-party transit delays. Refunds are not issued for delayed arrival unless guaranteed in a separate, written premium service level agreement (SLA).
3. Cargo Damage or Loss Claims
Freight service refunds do not constitute cargo insurance payouts. For physical damage or cargo shortage:
- Damage must be noted on the Proof of Delivery (POD) or Bill of Lading (BOL) immediately upon receipt.
- Claims must be filed within the legal statutory limit governing the transport mode, including the Carmack Amendment for domestic road freight where applicable.
- Verified claims are settled based on carrier liability limits or supplementary cargo insurance purchased before transit.
